Following on from Faro, National Capital of Culture 2005, Friends are taking up the
challenge of continuing to promote cultural activities, not only in São Brás but in the whole of the Algarve.
Friends of the Museum invite everyone at whatever level of ability and in whatever medium to express their response to any aspect of the Algarve.
Ideally the response should be one which enables the public to see them at work or performing.
We are planning to work with other centres of culture throughout the region to display work and at the Arte Viva event at the Museum in July all responses will be brought together in a festival of culture.
A number of publications have shown commitment to reporting the events as they happen.
